So i have an interesting situation that comes out of my mind but it’s similar to a soap opera. There is this guy let’s call him Jason who has a lot in common with you and you know him and his friends really well and everyone you know likes him. You also would look great together on a christmas card. The attraction is there, but it’s mostly a physical attraction and an attraction based on similar personalities.

Then you meet this other guy, Dave, who isn’t part of your group. When you first look into his eyes you feel an intense love and connection to him. You feel like you’ve known him all your life and you can’t take your eyes off his eyes. Then he touches you lightly on the arm when talking to you and you feel an intense connection when he does that. He asks you out and you give your number but you’re unsure what to do about it because your friends haven’t approved. You also find out that Dave doesn’t have the financial stability to support you, but Jason does.

Your parents would approve more of Jason than Dave but your heart says to go after Dave despite what everyone else is telling you. Do you continue to follow your heart or break under pressure and go after what looks good to everyone else?

in a relationship you need to go by character. Is he a good person. Does he have a temper? is he reckless like taking chances while driving. how does he treat his parents, how does it act around kids. faces all look the same when you’re eighty years old, so if your looking for a serious relationship, then don’t go by looks, his wallet, since these are things that can change in a minute. even younger people can get into an accident and turn into a quadroplegic or loose all their money in the stock market. Right now you see the unemployment, the houses for sale or under forclosure. A good relations come with, look at that person, and would you like to spend a life time with him even if the worst were to happen. If you are old enough to marry, then who cares what other people think, follow your heart!

Another alternative would be to obtain a copy of The Fountain. If you are looking for a good yet spiritually oriented movie it is the way to go. (Edit: it also deals with romance, death by cancer, and Hugh Jackman….still it is one of my favorites and I recommend it to you)

First of all, take The Exorcist 2: the Heretic, and throw it away. It’s awful. For a religious experience, watch the first one but pay close attention to the younger priest, Damien Carras. He has many spiritual and practical dilemmas that Regan’s possession is a metaphor for. Then, watch Exorcist 3. It’s dissimilar enough to enjoy, it’s spooky, (watch the guy that’s locked up, they use 2 different actors). And lots of famous people have cameos in the diner.

Joaquin Phoenix: Underrated actor or not?
To me he joins my exclusive list of underrated actors. He is talented and needs to drop this music charade even though he could sing and get back to where he rightfully belongs, the movie industry. I mean he isn’t as talented as his brother River was, but unfortunately River’s life and the actor he could have been was cut short.

Nevertheless, I think Joaquin is an accomplished actor that you never hear much of because of the crap performers of today that he has to take a back seat towards. Even though he has been a part of some very solid movies & roles, like:

Gladiator – Commodus
Hotel Rwanda – Jack Daglish
Ladder 49 – Jack Morrison
Walk the Line – Accurate, portrayal IMO of the Man in Black himself,(Johnny Cash).
To Die For – Jimmy Emmett
Parenthood – Garry Buckman-Lampkin
I guess I do not think he is crazy though he has every right to feel and act like he is doing. It is part of his creative genius most genius’s are very depressed within their innermost selves.
Joaquin has lived a tough life drugs have played an intricate part of his and his family’s upbringing in the movies.
dwhite I fully agree To Die For was such an underrated role for him and I completely agree he was there in body, but not in mind.

You know I thought that maybe To Die For was his best role. He seems almost inert, just there bodily but not mentally. And yet I found his dim bulb performance like many kids that I see on other movies who get acclaim. I think it is his most underrated performance because everybody couldn’t tell he was acting-that’s how realistic the acting was. Just my opinion.

Serenity

Being from INDIA doesn’t make u an idiot at English literature! Remember Rabindranath Tagaore won the Noble prize for literature in English poems. If Ur from rural background then read these books also u can read other literature like "the three investigators"-by Hitchcock u can easily find these in ur school library and also the sherlock holmes and many many others.
